The Amalfi Coast is a stretch of coastline in Campania that overlooks the Gulf of Salerno. Consisting of 13 hamlets, it takes its name from the town of Amalfi, an ancient Maritime Republic. Its natural beauty and picturesque landscapes have made it a popular destination, but it also boasts an interesting historical past.
All the villages that compose it are known for their particularity and beauty: Tramonti is defined as the “green lung” of the Coast, Scala is the oldest town on the Coast, Furore with its suggestive “Fiordo”, Conca dei Marini with its Emerald Grotto, Cetara known for its delicious colatura di alici, Vietri sul Mare known all over the world for its ancient tradition of ceramics, Atrani, the smallest and most characteristic town with its narrow streets, Minori with its Villa Romana, Maiori with the “Collegiata of Santa Maria a Mare” Church and the San Nicola de Thoro Plano Castle and Praiano with the churches of San Luca and San Gennaro and their panoramic points.

It is home to the Ravello Festival, a music and cultural festival featuring internationally renowned artists on the impressive stage of Villa Rufolo, suspended between the sea and the sky. This event is unique in the world, as it combines musical notes with the spectacular scenery of the Divine Coast.
It is also possible to attend chamber music concerts organised in the historic Annunziata building by the Ravello Concert Society.
